Harold Budd

Born in Los Angeles. He starts his career in 1962.  He's a minimalism master, also defined as "the godfather of ambient music" together with Brian Eno. He recorded more than 50 albums and wrote 3 poetry books.

He collaborated with some of the most influential artists of the last three decades, from David Sylvian to Daniel Lanois, passing through the U2 who used some of his marvellous piano lines in their last album.

Rarely playing live Budd is pure bliss when touching the piano, always suspended among silence and delicate notes, he's simply unique.
